Hunter Lingle Co-Founder/
Designer Hunter, born in South Carolina, designed and draped Barbie Dolls with leftover fabric and trim from her mother's sewing room. Recognizing a "couture" look that Barbie possessed, Hunter continued to pursue fashion at ayoung age by constantly sketching and designing her own clothes. A perfectionist for fit, style and color, she pursued an undergraduate degree in fashion design and studio art at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. During those four years she yearned for more, and set out for the Big Apple where she interned for fashion designers Nanette Lepore and Rebecca Taylor. Both designers proved to be inspirations. After completing her undergraduate degree, she headed back to New York to pursue her lifelong dream. Hunter's passion to produce and create her own unique "couture" look has been fueled by her experience as a women's contemporary and technical designer, in addition to her continuing studies at the Parsons School of Design. |
